JAE|JAE Connectors|Japan Aerospace Electronics WP6C Series 0.4 mm pitch board-to-board (FPC) connectors are a: thin stacking type board-to-board (FPC) connectors with 0.4 mm pitch, ideal for high-density mounting in ultra-thin infocommunication devices such as cellular phones, smartphones, LCDs, and laptops.The WP6C Series has a shielded construction that reduces noise when mating with a safety ground connection by having dedicated terminals at the four corners and a dedicated terminal on the back side of the socket equipped with a shield that reduces noise when mating with a safety ground connection. In addition, the WP6C series has the same mounting pattern as the existing WP6 series. Both shielded and unshielded types are available. Its main features are:Pitch 0.4 mm, 2 rows, stacking height 0.8 mm. The contact structure ensures high wear resistance and high contact reliability. Safe compression prevents insulator breakage and detachment from the FPC. Two-point contact design resists torsional stress. Reinforced ground connection for mating, shielded structure with anti-noise measures. Lead-free. (Nickel blocking layer on contacts prevents solder core suction.) Main applications are: ultra-thin information communication devices such as cellular phones, smart phones, LCD monitors and laptops.
